Welcome! I’m Carolyn (she/her) and I’m so glad you're here. I am dedicated to supporting clients in building resilience, cultivating self-compassion, and exploring how one’s past experiences shape their present. My approach is collaborative and person-centered, and I strive to create a safe, culturally sensitive space that fosters growth and curiosity. I integrate evidence-based techniques - including cognitive and behavioral strategies, solution-focused methods, strengths-based approaches, and mindfulness - tailored to each client’s unique needs and feedback.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College and am working toward licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). My professional path began 17 years ago in healthcare as a licensed respiratory therapist, caring for patients of all ages. I also hold a Master’s in Education and have worked extensively in higher education, where I supported students’ mental health and personal development.

In my clinical work, I support clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety and perfectionistic tendencies, self-esteem and self-worth, adjustment to medical issues and chronic health conditions, and relationship challenges. I also work with clients processing trauma (including PTSD, childhood trauma, and trauma among healthcare professionals), grief and loss, life transitions such as college or career changes, and identity exploration.

I am committed to lifelong learning and to advancing social justice, with a particular dedication to supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community. It is a privilege to partner with clients as they navigate challenges and create meaningful change, and I look forward to the possibility of connecting with you.
