Emma Morehouse-Hulbert, LCSW
Clinician
Hi, I'm Emma, and I'm so glad you're here!
I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, body image issues, struggles with self-confidence or self-acceptance, and life transitions. I’m especially passionate about supporting people who may feel introverted, shy, or socially anxious. One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is helping people feel comfortable, accepted, and truly seen. My goal is to walk alongside you with warmth, authenticity, and a healthy dose of humor.
I’ve always been inspired by the meaningful connections that come from helping people navigate life’s challenges. I got my undergraduate degree in Sociology from Bates College, and after graduating, worked as a therapeutic mentor and case manager—roles that deepened my desire to support others in a meaningful way. These experiences fueled my passion for social work, leading me to complete my Master’s in Social Work at Boston College. During my graduate training, I had the opportunity to work in a high school and at a residential treatment program for adolescents with mood disorders at McLean Hospital. These experiences confirmed my commitment to working with young people and those navigating life transitions.
I bring a client-centered, strengths-based, and holistic approach to therapy. I draw from modalities like CBT, DBT, and solution-focused therapy, and I tailor my work to meet your individual needs. My style is compassionate and collaborative—I believe in creating a space where you feel heard and supported, while also being gently challenged to grow into the best version of yourself.
Therapy takes courage, and I’d be honored to be part of your journey.
